The Tumbled Finish
Tumbled Natural Stone Tiles – tumbling of stone creates an antique look to a natural stone tile.
The edges of the tile have an irregular rounded finish similar to an old antique stone tile. The process of tumbling involves the natural stone tiles being placed in a large drum full of small pebbles, which is then vigorously vibrated resulting in a worn look to the tile.
