Engineered oak flooring – random width

Engineered oak flooring – random width – Herefordshire, August 2015

Location: Herefordshire, England

Date: August 2015

Area: 70m2

Cost: 160/190/220 x 21mm x £39.50m2 + vat

Flooring Specification: A stone built Herefordshire country house had been extended with a 50m2 Orangery. The engineered oak floor was running from the kitchen, in the original part of the house, into the new Orangery. The mixed width of 160/190/220 x 21mm suited the project perfectly. The large open space of the orangery required something that did not look repetitive. The mixed width boards are softer on the eye, whilst also suiting the character of the original part of the house.
The oak floor was finished with Treatex hardwax oil.

Floor Fitted: White-Hall Flooring
